Attica Locke is the author of The Cutting Season, a riveting thriller set in Louisiana. Her previous novel, Black Water Rising, was shortlisted for the Orange Prize for Fiction in 2010 and nominated for an Edgar Award and NAACP Image Award. In addition to her recent career in literature, Attica has spent many years working as a screenwriter for film and television. Books will be available for purchase and signing courtesy of the Friends of the Warrensville Branch Library.
